Brunei is too small...

with an area of 5765sq km.... a teeny wee bit bigger than Singapore.. and yet... ITS TOOO SMALL!!!!!

sigh.. i have to take it from the top...

when i was in brunei, I knew 2 bruneians in Japan, one was Jason (his mom and my mom are friends) the other was Najee (my senior in MD in the Literature Department)

Both Jason and Najee were based in Osaka, and thats all that matters to me.. I was after all first based in Osaka...

That was alright, I mean, yeay Bruneian connections is JAPAN!!.. whilst in Osaka, I bonded with Naj. I soon found out that her bestfriend's boyfriend was Sasa's classmate... (whats his name again... ahhh... became House captain of Danson house last time... same time with her ka? I forgot eh..)

Brunei is too small...

While still based in Osaka, I met another senior studying in Kyoto. Azman... he came up to me after hearing my name.. and asked me "hows the restaurant business? do you guys still own the porsche?" I was like.. "EHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH?!?!?!" how did you know that?!?!?! He told me that he was my brother's classmate before... He used to come over to the house.. he even knows where I live...

Brunei is too small...

Last year, during Golden Week, I went to Tokyo for the first time... I met the Tokyo-ite Bruneians. I met Rahman.. (the guy who saved me during my Akihabara pinch) He also knows my family... Why?! Because he lives in the same kampung as I do... Our parents would know each other...

Brunei is too small...

This year, when I thought I was the only Bruneian in Tsukuba University, another Bruneian came, her name's Foo Chuan Eng. After talking with her and stuff... bonding and then she asked me... "did you use to take Korean classes in UBD?" im like yesss... why? Do you know my sister? she used to take Korean classes with you too... her name is Ching.. I'm like WTF????!!! thats sooo true!!!! I KNOW BECAUSE I sat beside her.. (due to my childish-ness, thinking.. we have the ching name.. lets stay together!! mind set.. heheh).. so yeah my junior's sister and I went to Korean class in UBD...

Brunei is too small...

Before this post, I met a girl from Chile, another foreign student (The only foreign student from the 1st years that i havent met... that last foreign student) and she told me she met a Japanese girl in her department (Art and Design Dept) who has been living in Brunei all her life.. looking for another Bruneian out there in Tsukuba... Of course I was estastic.. man.. Japanese-Bruneian.. too cool!!!! I have been mailing her like when to meet, due to our hectic (more on her side) schedules, we couldnt meet up.. until~~~ this afternoon... I of course had so many questions.. beginning with.. WHAT THE HELL WERE YOU DOING IN BRUNEI?!?!? hahaha and where did you study? well she answered my second question without saying anything.. first thing she did when she saw me.. HUG.. ahhh.. definitely ISB-an.. ahhahahahaha and then she told me about herself.. we talked about for an hour.. it feels so nice to be able to speak to a Japanese person in English.. and not feel worried about my English being too fast or too difficult.. hahahaha and then she told me she knew Serene and Woei Chian.. played volleyball with them... And i was like.. really??!?!?!? man.. thats sooo coooool.. we best friends yo!! and yeah.. she told me how much she missed Brunei.. and Im like wha~?!?!?! she misses her amah..(HAHAHAH) and Im like i know that feeling sooooooooooo well... and then how she misses the Mall.. im like hai???????? but it was SOOOOOOOOO cool how i met someone in Tsukuba who is practically Bruneian.. hahahahaha and then she told me her ex-bf was Kim Wee.. and Im like OH MY GOD!!!! I know him.. he was my sec1-3 classmate.. more like lab partners!!! and then we laughed.. looked at each other with disbelief.. and said at the same time...
