well... it was a rushed day lah.. considering that the day i left for tokyo was on friday.. had afternoon classes (history) and then tutor and then it was also my friend's birthday.. skipped history, cancelled my tutor... got down to cleaning my room and packing.. after that we all had a plan for her bday so yeah.. last minute plan of course.. while everyone else was playing good student by attending classes, i had to go and find party food raw materials.. lol... i mean ingredients.. phew i almost lost my english back there... so yeah went out to buy the stuff.. came back did the cooking with the rest of the gang... and we made pancakes, cucur pisang, mee goreng and fried potato chips... cos on one floor got only 2 gas stoves, we needed four.. so we spread out in to 3 floors to do the cooking.. can you imagine? the second floor, we did the fried potatoes, the third floor we did the pancakes and cucur pisang and the fourth floor we did the mee goreng.. damn stupid but yeah... my night bus to tokyo leaves from umeda at 1050pm... technically have to leave my uni at 830 to reach umeda... it was 745 when we all were still cooking... adeline PINCH! so yeah i hurried them into calling everyone.. finally finisehed cooking at 720.. (was already dressed to leave and my luggages were with me at the party site) was there to witness the candle blowing (cos i forced them to blow the candle with me and stuff) took a few pictures.. stuff myself with bits of this and that.. and then everyone was like feeding me off their spoons with the (baskin and robin ice cream cake) pan cake cucr pisang and fries... so touching.. hahah in a disgusting way.. hahhaha i left the building at 835 reached the bus stop at 840.. bus was supposed to arrive at 845 but arrived at 855.... while i was leaving the building they were all waving at the window.. have fun in tokyo!!! dont spend too much money!! buy us souveneirs!!! take care and all that jazz.. (sniff sniff)
yes reached the train station in one piece.. but during my journey to umeda... got lost in the train station... switched to the wrong train.. yeah very bad.. like i never went to umeda myself before.. so dumb!!! ahh how can i make that stupid mistake.. anyways.. found my way back... only it costed me 200 yen.. hahaha and a slight time delay.. yeah reached umeda train station at 1030.. thought that the bus stand where the night bus was nearby.. sekali it was some where totally different from the train stations location.. DIE DIE DIE ... only 20 mins left.. lost some more in umeda (this time i was with my sempai) ask for directions, adrenaline rush panicky and so yeah like having the "am i going to make it to tokyo?? shyt why did this happen" thoughts... in the end called a taxi to bring us to the location the driver told us that the palce was right in front of us.. but then we were panicking and had 2 minutes left to countdown.. dont care liao just take us there.. really just in front lor.. cross the traffic light and there we were.. the bus station.. pretty dumb.. and we had to pay 660 yen... another ker-dong moment... and then when we reached there.. apparently the bus will wait for another 15 mins.... DUMB DUMB DUMB
well anyways.. that was the story about the JOURNEY to tokyo.. HAHAHAHAH
day one in tokyo... well main purpose why i went there?just to refresh your memory.. to attend the sultans birthday celebration..
yes stayed at shinagawa where there is a mini brunei area... hahahaha for the first time in along time i really felt like i was in brunei.. i mean the houses were like totally different.. ahh.. the nostalgic big living rooms.. ahhh the marbled floor... the cupboards with china in them.. and of course who could forget the pretty sofas.. and also!!! QUEEN SIZE BED... it has been too long!!!! and of course.. the feeling of sitting inside a car.. driven to places.. hahaha.. so yeah.. the reception started at 1230.. we finished at about 4... went back to change.. went to akihabara.. because i couldnt wait no more!!!
in akihabara.. what did i buy? NOTHING why? cos i was looking for one piece models... and did i find any? NONE.. why? cause all i could find where the small ones? i wanted the big ones... like at least 15cm or 17cm tall... i did see cool things like hard disk drives being sold for 15000 yen with 300gb or was it mb? ahh which ever.. what i noe is its the bigger one.. yeah the fastest speed some more.. and then yeah walking all over the place in search of one piece... couldnt get anything but models of anime girls with large tits.. and i sure as hell dont want that... saw lots of maid-sans... cos players... but couldnt take photos of them... so yeah left akihabara with absolutely nothing
next day.. went to nakano.. another anime/figurine area.. again my search continued.. and yet again it crashed and burned... why same reason i wanted the big ones.. got only the small ones.. i did manage to find one big one.. and it was only the girl character... and it asnt for sale.. DAMMIT... angry and frustrated.. didnt care anymore.. wanted to leave tokyo with something one piece.. bought a one piece puzzle... hahahah after that i went to see tokyo's version of the university of foreign studies.. DAMN COOL i say!! what the hell am i doing in osaka!?!?!? why the hell was i positioned in osaka?!?!?!?! i went to see my friend.. wah lau eh.. got stove in her own room, provided her own ice box, got her own aircon, got her own toilet with BATHTUB!! in her own room.. AND MOST IMPORTANTLY INTERNET ACCESS!!! i ask myself... WHY WHY WHY WHY?!?!?! so yeah but then i knew this like long before (at least the internet part) so i asked her to dl for me one piece anime.. (yes i'm that obssessed.. and you should be too cos its a freakking good anime) went there to steal it back from her.. and then downloaded 3 more latest episodes on the spot.. and it completed too... 5 mins later that is...sniff sniff i love tokyo... went back to shinagawa on my own... (my sempai was with her friends karaoke-ing in some other part of tokyo)
next day (last day) woke up at 1pm.... it was raining no wonder did not realize that it has become that late... my sempai apparently came back at 8am in the morning after karaoke.. hahah i was already panicking.. i came all the way to tokyo.. and did not buy anything substantial yet?!?!?! up to this point only (7000 yen) spent... less than my bus ticket to tokyo... so yeah urged my senpais to bring me to harajuku, shibuya.. and so we did.. although only less than 5 hrs to do shopping.. being bruneian.. and simply by being just me... i managed to spend money.. thank god!!! if not my trip would have been a total waste!! pls dont tell my mother i said that.. HAHAHAH.. anyways.. it was most unfortunate that the whole day it was raining.. and therefore i could not take nice photos.. hell.. there was no time for photos... 5hrs shopping in 2 different areas is a near miracle... hahaha nothing but people in umbrellas pushing each other anyway.. so yeah even shopping was difficult.. so yeah
in the end i did not do clothes shopping in tokyo.. why? 1) size differences 2) too lazy to actually look for clothes when u have guys waiting for you outside the store 3) prices.. what did i actually buy in tokyo? a new pink luggage/ slippers/ earphones (my ipod ones spoil liao)/ souveneirs/ and a truckload of accessories.. HAHAHAH left tokyo at 1115pm.. reached osaka at 800am next morning... from the train staition to the university 45 mins... needless to say i reached "home" at 845am.. class started at 910am.. was present on tuesday class... i say BRAVO adeline BRAVO.. hahaha
next day adeline's body went on a complete shut down.. could not attend class on wednesday.. HAHAHAH moral of the story... get back one day earlier next time?
conclusions about the tokyo trip... unsatisfactory... what to do about it? go there again after korea trip... stay there for at least 2 sundays.. why? have to stay for the akihabara parade and the harajuku parade.. HAHAHAHA and of course enter the maid cafes... and yes after my korea trip.. im going to tokyo once more... MUAHAHAHAHAH
the end
love adeline
