finally Nagano Arc plus extras

right.. as you all know i went to Nagano to celebrate winter-christmas and have fun with my friends.. most of us came from tropical countries = SNOW VIRGINS.. so yeah.. very *wakuwaku and **dokidoki about snow.. wanted to play snow ball fight, build snow man, snow angels and the like.. yay!! so we were in tokyo right.. the rest were in osaka.. we were to meet in Nagano station and the like.. haha

we took the train from Tokyo to Nagano, they took the bus from Osaka to Nagano...

they got there earlier and we were late.. because we missed the train by a few minutes and it was an HOURLY train.. sigh...

when we 到着at Nagano.. we were like so.. where are you guys? 'we are at McDonalds..' mc d where leh?????? banyak you know.. whats outside your window? 'Window cleaning services' What the hell is that?!?! in the end, we met, they had already stayed in mcdo for like 1hr.. but we havent eaten yet so yeah.. gomenasai.. can we eat first?

after that we had to figure out HOW to get to the lodge.. walk here walk there, asking ppl 'sumimasen.. basutei-tte doko ni arimasu ka' that kinda shyt.. and got many different instructions.. in the end.. went to a bus terminal to ask the lady.. and she led us back to the train station.. DUMB NESSSS...

got in a super cute Shuttle bus.. so small..there were eight of us : brunei, malaysia, indonesia, new zealand, brazil, croatia, fiji, india... and the bus already seemed full.. and then there were the japanese elders.. asking us.. where are you from.. making small talk... hahah it was weird...

stopped at one bus stop, the people from the lodge came to pick us up from the bus stop.. walked with us to the lodge.. explain about the place.. it was nice.. haha

reached the place.. it was CUTEEE quaint.. and oh so homely.. we had bed bunks!! i took the bottom bunk.. hahah.. so we bura bura all the way there.. discussed with the lodge owners about what to do in Nagano.. sight seeing places, they were keen to know why the hell are we staying in Nagano for FOUR freaking days... and we were like 'change of atmosphere?' 'to get away from it all????' heh

it was already dark by the time we got comfy.. we needed FOOD.. so we walked all the way to Saizeriya - italian restaurant.. we walked through a park.. and made a shit load of noise as usual.. i tell you.. when im with the angmos.. they really make loud noises.. where ever we go... pass through the park, made animal noises.. and i was like 'i dont know them...' hahah

so yeah day one ended like that.. got to the place, ate and talked all the way..

a belated birthday to SASA

back to what happened these past few weeks,

well its January, and January = birthday people in Japan and also in Brunei. It was two of my bestfriends bday in Japan. 21 -Korean, 26 - Malaysian. and in brunei 19 - koko, 26 - sasa

was freakking busy man.. Since both of them arethe usual bday collaborators, this means that this bday bash was left to me to handle.. damn.. so me and my indonesian friend went present hunting.. cake searching.. decide what to do and the bdays lor...

for my Korean friend we did the usual thing, midnight cake surprise.. with her expensive make up presents Guerlain and Dior... hahaha she loved them.. hahah but then it went really weird because we had nothing else to do.. no game.. no nothing... awkwardness.. on top of that we got scolded for making too much noise on her floor.. we moved down to the lounge.. and there.. we had nothing else to do....

it was there and then me and my assistant vowed to make the next bday bash a bit different and exciting.. hahah for my Malaysian friend, we did not do the midnight thing, we did a bday cake before class.. and on that day itself, we had a field trip.. and because we were separated by art stream and science stream.. we werent together.. haha (Art stream ppl went to a NINJA VILLAGE!! woots Science stream people went to Osaka port.. BORINGGGG) so the plan was.. after we all got back from the field trip, everyone gather.. and start a TREASURE HUNT.. yay! me and my New Zealander friend, had already set up a treasure hunt for the bday girl - she has to find her one present.. IM EVIL.. so yeah.. its winter and it rained.. and it was at night.. they didnt have a torchlight.. and it was ALL OVER THE CAMPUS... fun times.. hahaha they were doing the treasure hunt for 4hours... while me and my accomplice had warm water, donuts while watching MONTY PYTON the HOLY GRAIL.. in my singaporean friend's room.. HAHAHHAHAHAH
after the hunt, we decided to go for karaoke.. and so we did...

i love being in a foreign dormitory.. i have friends from different countries.. and all of us speak different lauguages.. so yeah my brazilian friend was teaching my New Zealander how to swear in portugese.. actually how to say dirty things like : "take all your clothes off! get down and suck it real hard boy.. shove your fingers up your ass.." i dont know how to say it because its too long and shit.. but i know they were saying it to me without me knowing the meaning and i said back "sure why not? one more time please" i didnt know the exact meaning at that time but i knew it had to be dirty.. so i played along.. and my brazilian friend laughed her head off.. saying that i'll survive in Brazil...

and then both of them turned to me and my Indonesian friend.. teach us something dirty in Malay.. and we were like.. theres nothing much.. i cant remember.. and they went .. of course there is.. 'how do you say FUCK in malay'.. we were like there is no 'fuck' in malay.. and i then i taught them "sial" because i recently used the word.. and then an authentic Bruneian swear word "pukima".. and the bad thing was that.. i taught them while we were walking to Carrefour.. and they made a "pukima" remix.. singing in their loud voices pukima all the way.. and i was like.. Im so sorry for having taught them the word.... they were like whats the meaning? im like your moms cunt? hahaha they were like doesnt it sound too cute? like pooookieee ma? im like gehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh....

and then there was the time where they wanted to learn chinese.. they only know how to say HAO CHE (delicious).. hahah wanted to pronounce wo ai ni properly... but cant get the four intonations right.. hahaha this is where i come in.. i was like (to the malaysians).. how do chinese pornography sound like? what do they say? i mean i can imagine japanese (kimochiii ah motto motto.. ahh) english (more more faster oh yess!!!) but how about chinese? and then my malaysian friends were like.. hmmm.. i cant remember the words.. but she said it.. HAHAHA i was disgusted yet amused.. hahahaha

this is going to be a pictureless blog.. while i try to work on my thesis.. damn.. I'm supposed to write about bullying いじめ well i can't really say "supposed" because i chose it.. but yeah.. damn.. this is so bothersome

right.. after disney land.. we went to STUDIO GIBLIS MUSEUM in Mitaka Tokyo.

It was a Wednesday, the same routine of me waking early to check the downloads, go online.. watch some anime.. while the rest of the girls.. carry on sleeping.. how do they do that? I for one can't sleep that much..

by the time we were ready to leave, it was like 2.30? heh.. no problem i guess... WRONG.. we didnt know what time the place closes at.. where the place was.. hell we didnt have tickets... the website says.. purchase tickets from your nearest LAWSON convienience store.. okay.. no problem... and since we STUDIO GIBLI is in Mitaka district? we thought: simple just take any train to Mitaka train station lor.. so simple.. hahahah

so we took the normal train to the Mitaka station... went out.. straightaway see LAWSON.. good... can buy tickets... bought tickets.. found out that the last entrance time to the musuem was 4.30pm .. the time was 3.45pm... no problem.. we are already in Mitaka what.. lol.. sekali... WHAT THE FUCK?!?!? where are we? isnt the museum supposed to be like 20 mins walk away from the train station? it turns out that we technically got off at MITAKA STATION.. of a different train company... we needed to get off at MITAKA JR STATION.. well.. that went well..

so got back to the train station made sure we were on track again.. reached the CORRECT train station.. what time 4.20pm.. HOLY !#$%'($"!!! it was 1500m away from the station.. we had 10 minutes.. we hadnt had breakfast or lunch.. life is great.. we stopped by to buy onigiri and water for a bit.. while my friend checked on the map.. the way to go to the musuem.. while i was standing looking for tuna mayoooo~ onigiri.. she screamed.. "OIII we dont have time for this.." but i want to buy the onigiri.. we got that. DASHED all the way to the musuem... thank god for road signs... they were very nice.. pretty looking road signs.. constantly reminding you... 900m to GIBLI musuem 850m to GIBLI musuem..600m to GIBLI musuem... so we ate and ran at the same time.. it felt like marathon.. or the AMAZING RACE.. we barely made it!!!! the security guard was about to close the gate.. but he let us in.. it was pretty and WORTH it.. small but nice.. hell even the toilets were pretty...

i guess it quite unfair that ure the one who keeps on blogging so i'll try to do my part and put up some pics hehehe alrite ermm what hav i been doin this holidays. the biggest highlight of it is me goin scuba diving, i'm still gonna continue it eventho my dad objects abt it coz he wants me to focus on my studies blah blah hav to use my own money from my account to do it now but u noe thats life n all n i really love it. i'll nvr do it in australia for months so i may as well make full use of it now rite? wat r u views on this guys?

so yeah, under the sea, ITS BEAUTIFUL! the fishes fly over u n its so colourful downthere, i swear it is as if god threw his colour palate unto the ocean. its really beautiful n plus i may get to see dolphins if i'm lucky enough. i saw giant cuttlefishes, tons of starfishes, big ass clams, schools of fishes n most of all i've experienced a total of around 4 hrs of sea sickness, but it was worth it. i've learnt to pee in the sea! i've swam in the great big ocean with out getting eaten or bitten n to my surpise i floated with ease! ( i noe its like 'duh' coz saltwater has more bouyancy than fresh water) yeah the ocean is good, i've made a friend out of my jap scuba diving instructor who is obsessed with pork ahaha

2nd highlight is the new yrs party, it was rocking! n with fireworks, who cudnt love empire? oh yeah our room actually kena internal security coz it was too noisy n we had too much peeps innit so teng teng teng, please evacuate b4 we arrest u. didnt get a wink of sleep that day, kinda screwed up my entire week sleep pattern. other than that, she eng n i went for a 15 buck manicure at nail arts n omg! r my nails pretty! they are...THEY ARE!!! awwwwWWWWW i've nvr seen vanish on my nails lasted for more than 2 days, this is like almost staying on for a like 5 days! thats like wow! n they hav been into salt water, me washing my hair n putting toner on my face! like wow!! seriously! wow! toner again!

yeah anwyays i'm getting too hyped up abt it, so far the longest holiday hasnt been boring at all but i really miss the freedom i get in melbourne. the fact that i cant jsut go out for 2 days with out getting the evil eye from my parents or like qns like wat r u doin with that money that i've gave u 3 days ago? ' ermmm i've spent it? duh.. hahahah' daniel is still sexy n weakling is still weakling. brunei is still green n beautiful n food here is still fattening hahahha yeah now i've been reading alot of sasuxnaru stuff n like i'm drawing some now just to pass thetime. adeline! get some manga for me over there can? i dunno wats hip but i trust ure perverted taste heheheheh

The Disneyland Adventure

After the failed TokyoTower event and the disappointing Eragon movie trip, we went to:

It was yet another long journey. I never throughly explained the route did I? yosh! will do so to give you the faintest idea of how tiring and mendokusai it was.

From the dormitory walk a 20minute walk to Tobitakyu Station --> Tobitakyu Station take the local train to Chofu Station --> at Chofu Station wait for 4 minutes for the Semi-Rapid Express to Shinjuku Station --> at Shinjuku Station transfer to a different line to go to Tokyo Station --> at Tokyo Station walk like 1500m to another line which takes you to Maihama Station (DisneyLand)

thats a lot of stages just to get to one place dont you think? Not only that. you have to add in the gush of people and the crowded trains. Oh and i forgot.. it's winter. Early morning + cold + sardine like trains + more people + the transfers = HELL

was it worth it? you evaluate.

I dont know how to describe the actual trip to you guys.. it's biasa.. the rides were not thrill rides. But seeing the place just takes my breath away.. its pretty and smily... a hell lot BIGGER than Universal Studios.

First thing we rode on.. was.. the beaver canoe ride thing.. and then a water ride like our own Jerudong Park's Water Log but i must say Water Log much more thrill... just that Disney's win hands down on scenery and length. Next a Mine train thing... and then i think the Haunted Mansion ride? i dont think its called a ride.. because its those things where you sit inside the cart and look at the glow in the dark things.. and "ghosts" appear disappear beside you...

yeah i forgot all the rides names.. eitherways.. we didnt sit on all the rides.. (because I didnt think that they were worth the long queues) If i were to wait in line for 1hr plus for a ride.. it better be good like Giant Drop at least man.. or PusingLagi. I dont want to sit in something that can barely get me to scream.. dont waste my time please~! hahahah

So me and my friend went around Disneyland to snap photos ooh ahh oooh ahh there lor.. tried all of their funky popcorn... I think we spent more money on food than anything.. The whole trip to Disneyland was 1040yen, entrance fee was 6500yen I think? roughly round there la.. okay not counting the entrance fees, we spent a lot of money on food. we tried the curry popcorn, chocolate popcorn, honey popcorn.. each popcorn costed like 230yen. the roasted turkey for 600yen and then there is the set lunch.. forgot the price.. but I know that i wanted to try the MickeyMouse burger thingys.. but was too full during lunch (damn you popcorn!) and the burger thing was only lunch time.. so had to order the chicken and eggs dinner... To be honest with y'all I only ordered it cos I wanted to see the Mickey Mouse shaped plates...

Eitherways, while at Disneyland, I was constantly reminded of my younger years, how I wanted to be a princess.. ah.. how I wanted to be pretty as Ariel, I wanted to be courted like Aurora... (why was I thinking those characters I also dont know they werent at Disneyland but in DisneySea..) but yeah.... I'm a PRINCESS.. hahahah I am if I say so!!!

right... wake up adeline you ugly excuse of a being you!!!

at night, saw the parades, got freakking tired, wanted to go back... my Tokyo Gaidai friends were still super duper high, my batteries were on the low.. and I begged my other friend to go back.. So in the end, my friend and I returned to the dorms ourselves... my Tokyo Gaidai friends went Karaoke-ing after Disney all the way till morn... I was dead by then...

RED LIGHT DISTRICT

okay, enough of cos players... what did we do besides having fun in Jump Fest? shit i better blog it all out before i forget...

right so on monday, (after the weekend of JUMP FEST) we decided to do something slow-paced and somewhere not too far from "home". we decided to go watch Eragon and see Tokyo Tower... we got up late.. at usual.. actually I got up early.. just that I didnt have the heart to wake the other girls up.. and also i wanted to hog the internet..(my downloads.. my downloads..)

right...

left "home" at around 3... to supposedly catch the 430 show.. but then the person whom i was bunking with called some friends to join us.. sure ok no prob.. we gave the green light.. "give me a few minutes" okay no problem.. another friend pass by.. "where are you all going? i wanna come too.." sure okay... so a few minutes became to wait for half an hour or so.. and then we realised that we wont make in time for the 430 show...had to make it to the night show.. but then at this rate.. we cant see Tokyo Tower... and we were like (-o-;) damn.. no choice lah.. but we tried to change the plan to: go to the movies book tickets.. rush to the station.. go to the Tower snap photos and then rush back to the movies to watch the movies... but that went down the toilet.. cos we had a hard time looking for the cinema..

the funny thing is we were the osaka peeps.. wanting the tokyo peeps to show us around... but it was the other round.. we were actually touring the tokyo people with our bad sense of direction, relying on maps and asking people... when we finally found the cinema it was too late to do the cinema tower cinema plan.... (pissed me off bad man that part..) what more.. half way being lost.. one of them actually said "aiyah at this rate no need to watch movie lah" i know something in me triggered at that moment... i didnt say anything but i really wanted to watch that movie.. and you kinda self invited yourself.. say something like that.. i'll beat your face in!!

so the cinema ended up in the middle of the RED LIGHT DISTRICT.. "Kabuki-cho".. hahah in other words.. hosts, gaybars, karaoke, pubs, clubs, hookers.. ahahha pleasure entertainment.. in japan they like to say "大サービス！！！" - meaning big service!! hahaha i really liked it there!! the sense of danger.. the lights.. the very dirty scenes with men trying to pick up girls, girls standing at the side.. giving the look which screamed "one night for you sir?".. man the excitement.. the adrenaline.. i felt like i went somewhere out of the world.. it was COOLLLL
so...... so......... dirty.. I LIKE IT... hahaha neon lights woots!! of course we only went there to watch Eragon.. a movie where good truimphs over evil.. a growing boy with a strong sense of Justice.. nothing dirty like Kabuki-cho... sigh...



so right... we watched the movie.. i didnt think it was great.. they stuffed contents into a 1hr+ movie.. didnt feel too good with me at all... sigh disappointment...

after the movie..we went back to rest for tomorrow's expedition to DISNEYLAND!!!

had a 5sc1 reunion on thursday in pizza hut.. more like a 3g reunion LOL it was ok la.. everyone looks alright.. except for thel khin who is like girly right now.... not tomboy anymore... yeah.. serene blog bah! jerica was talking to me about NS and stuffs so i can be prepared for it LOL baaa.... i think im so gonna die in NS... i have no pics to post... most of the pics were taken with ade.chong's cam and jerica's cam.. so... yeah.. i got kinda pissed before going to pizza hut cos me and serene thought it was the pizza hut in mall.. and we parked our car behind the old pizza hut and we forgot to check the old pizza hut to see if the guys were inside.... so we went over to the mall under the friggin rain... and my hair was sooo messed up... and we found out they were not in the mall so we had to go back to the old pizza hut there..... gahhh... and they were there..... so yeah....

before the pizza hut, me,serene,humphrey,johnson and sandy went to KL(muahahaha kuala lurah) to get alcohol..... saw gaby and serene's bestest friend, er..i forgot his name... LOL it was ok la... cibai rain ler.. really... everyday rain like its nobody's business... sien ah... actually we to KL the day before... but cos i didnt bring my passport cos serene only told me when i went to her hse, oh bell and thel khin were there too.. we went for lunch at a thai restaurant in kiarong, we walked there... after the lunch bell and thel khin went home... then had to go KL but i didnt have my passport so had to go back home and get.... so yeah this johnson and humphrey keep on complaining... zzzzz esp johnson... so we were late and the jam was bad at the immigration so we turned back.. LOL

went shopping yesterday with my mum in mall.. wee.. i bought 3 tops and 1 pair of pants and 1 necklace... yay! i got something to wear during new year's eve.... spent um.. less than 200.... i need to get more accessories ler.... necklaces are so expensive.. 20++ its enough to get a decent top already....

oh me and him are back in contact..lol his phone rosak so yeah.... and he emailed me.. lol

there's lotsa other craps happened..... but it doesnt really matter anyway... i wish i have pics to post... but everytime i forgot to bring cam one.. so yeah.... bleh~

once upon a time in Tokyo

right, after the Luminarie light show, nothing big happened except for the fact that I took the night bus to Tokyo, Shinjuku Station on Friday night. Number of times went to Tokyo by bus: 2

Overall comment... first bus was BETTER!!! i think because this time we took was a biiiiittt more expensive... and yeah.. this time it was a double decker bus and we were on the second floor.. shit so SAMPIT!! and hot... it's winter.. evryone was like bring a thick jacket when you get on the bus okay? guarantee very cold one... oh okayz.. sure.. jacket check.. SEKALI.. panas eh.. what the hell!?!?! i took the window seat so i was lucky (the cold vapour was helpful) but the other people... kasihan kasihan..

touchdown Shinjuku at 6am.. 新宿に到着しました。Saturday morning... man was the place dead.. one hour later.. shit.. where all the people come from!?!?!?! like magic mushrooms.. so there we were wasting time in Shinjuku station because it was SATURDAY 16th DECEMBER... which is

JUMP FESTIVAL 2007 DAY ONE

what the hell did we do? kill time nearby the coinlockers.. snacking on onigiri and packet juice... and then the time came.. lets make our way to JUMP FEST.. (kaihin makuhari) damn far.. take train from shinjuku station to tokyo station and then walk all the way to the line which takes you to DisneyLand.. yes the Festival was to be held a few stops after the DisneyLand... the one way trip it self costed a BOMB... 620yen.. crud.. but it was soo freakking worth it...

on the train.. i nudge my friend (nudge nudge).. errr... please dont tell me that in the Festival we're the only grown ups there?!!? なーなーなーんと。。。we realised that the train was packed with KIDS!!! eh!?!?!? dont tell me there'll be no adults?!?! we were waiting outside Lotteria to meet up with my other fellow Bruneians... looking at the kids pass by.. thinking of my younger brother.. because they were all kids playing nintendo ds and psp.. me thinking damn.. they're so small.. i could push one of them down and say このくそがき！！ＤＳくれぇ！！！(HAND OVER THE DS OR DIE!!) but then again there were so many of them (remnisces ANTZ) eitherways... wait wait wait.. kids walking by.. got annoyed at my friend, called her... where are you? we are at the lotteria!! and shes like i'm outside lotteria too!! eh!?

yeah apparently she exited the station to the west, we exited to the east and both exits have Lotteria in front of the station.. (-_-) so we decided to move on ourselves and meet inside the building itself... if we can... walk walk walk (into the light..--so tempted to say that for old times sake) meet a crossroad.. to the left original goods only found in JUMP FEST; to the right displays and company's booths... naturally we went to the left.. who knows the goods may have finish if we take the path to the right.. right?
FREAKKING long line!!! it felt like i walked AROUND the stadium twice to actually get to the merchandise hall.. when we finally entered the hall.. the crowd was broken down into batches before buying the goods... we were given catalogues to look at the goods.. and merchandise form to fill in... it was that organised!!!

bought almost every one piece product... moving along.. went to the show case hall.. saw LOADS of things... first thing to welcome us was NARUTO!! saying "jump festa dattebayo!!"(or something like that) and also ICHIGO.. balloons... and i was like a kid jumping around.. NARUTO da!!!! can i take a picture ka na? do i look stupid? nevermind.. take a picture of naruto saja la.. paiseh.. spoil the image saja... and then the one piece balloon hunt began... coz.. you know me.. saw loads of cos players.. wondering can take picture ka na? didnt take because takut... see here see there.. sakai here sakai there... met my bruneian friends by the huge kyuubi (Naruto) at last at about 2pm... and they showed me loads of cosplayers pictures that they took!!!I'm like shit!! we missed it!?!?!? they found a shit good looking CLOUD!!!!! and there i swore i'm coming again tomorrow.. just to attack the cosplayers... (I was already thinking.. i dont have to come again for the second day because i got the goods, i SAW HEARD (not touch not smell) the voice-actors, but that was good enough... but then again... the cosplayers!!!

my friend died halfway (meaning battery habis lah) what you expect, just touch down tokyo, go anime hunting.. with me some more.. ahah literally swimming through millions of people... we could have gone home any time we wanted.. but.. there was a ONE PIECE VS NARUTO special talk show at the end of the day...

thats right people!!! we saw the mangaka for both naruto and one piece.. Kishimoto Sensei and Oda Sensei.. and not only that... but we saw the VOICE ACTORS!!! for naruto, we saw naruto, sasuke and kakashi's voice actors.. for one piece, we saw, luffy, sanji, zoro, (SHIT MAN.. i was originally a sanji fan.. now i'm leaning towards zoro's side because of the voice..sexiness.. maybe because his character is always the too-cool-for-you-character.. and i just die there watching the character.. KYA!!!!) nami and ussop... DIE DIE DIE!! ORGASM!!! they were all interviewing each other, playing silly stuff.. while us fan stare with starry eyes... very awed.....
